Leberkäse, Fleischkäse meatcheese or Fleischlaib meatloaf is a meat specialty originally from the South of Germany. It can also be found in Austria and Switzerland. It is a loaf of meat made of beef, sometimes pork, bacon, and onions. The ingredients are ground into a very fine texture similar to bologna, then packed into loaf pans and baked untill they get a light brown crust.
