Greetings to all singers, delegates, and guests,

The German Club of Binghamton is is honored and proud to host the 34^th Sängerfest and welcome you to Binghamton as we celebrate our German heritage. We are working diligently to make the weekend successful and enjoyable for all participants. We have received great cooperation from the City of Binghamton, starting with Mayor Matthew Ryan and continuing through every section of city government. They are eager to welcome you to the city and are providing every assistance to make your stay enjoyable.

Our goal is to continue promoting and advancing German culture and tradition through music and song while maintaining the high standards of previous Sängerfeste.

Our Sängerfest weekend will afford all of us many unique opportunities to renew old friendships and form new ones while pursuing our common love of music through German culture and song. We are striving to make this weekend an entertaining, pleasant, and rewarding experience for you and hope that you are planing to join us for our weekend of song and Gemütlichkeit on 9, 10, 11 June 2006.

The German Club of Binghamton proudly announces Sangerfest 2006. This event is a competition among the German Singing Societies of New York State. Held triannually, the Binghamton German Club will host this choral festival June 9 through June 11, 2006.

A free concert open to the public is scheduled for Binghamton High School on Friday, June 9th at 7:15 PM. It will feature the combined voices over 150 people. The competition begins June 10th and is not open to the public.

We offer you a unique opportunity to showcase your business with an advertisement in the official Sangerfest 2006 Program, A minimum of 500 programs will be printed and distributed to choir members, their families and to the general public.

This brochure for Sangerfest 2006 outlines the various advertising levels from which to choose. Whatever your level of advertisement, you will gain positive exposure to a wide variety of audiences.

Please join the Binghamton German Club in welcoming the New York State Sangerbund (NY State Society of German Singing Societies) to the Southern Tier of New York. Your advertising commitment will send a strong message across New York Slate that this area is alive, well and open for business.
